What is a Return Trip?

A van or car that takes passengers to another town usually drives back with EMPTY seats. A Return Trip lets you book those empty seats — or the free cargo space — for much less than hiring a vehicle yourself. The driver earns something on the way home instead of nothing, and you travel or move your things cheaply. Everyone wins.

Watch how it works

1Open "Return trips" from the menu

Step by step

  1. 1
Open "Return trips" from the menu

You'll see upcoming trips: where the vehicle starts, where it's going, the date, and the price.

  2. 2
Find a trip going your way

Filter by from-town, to-town, and date. Example: "Colombo → Galle, Saturday".

  3. 3
Book a seat or cargo space

Some trips carry passengers, some carry goods (furniture, bikes, boxes), some both. The listing tells you what fits.

  4. 4
Chat with the driver and pay cash

After booking, a chat opens to agree on pickup place and time. Pay the driver in cash on the day.

Common questions

?I'm a driver — how do I post my return trip?

On the Return trips page, tap "Post a trip". Enter your route, date, free seats or cargo space, and your price. Our team approves it, then people can book.
